The Intrepid features a 2.5-inch QVGA (320x240 pixels) resolution touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB of memory, a Smart Reader, which scans business cards using the integrated camera and a full QWERTY keyboard below the display. Connectivity-wise, the Intrepid features EV-DO Rev A and Wi-Fi and stereo Bluetooth.
The OS comes built-in with Internet Explorer Mobile 6, which can access flash video streaming sites using the Adobe Flash Lite 3 plug-in. The device also supports Windows Marketplace for Mobile and Microsoft My Phone.
Sprint will begin shipping the Samsung Intrepid this Sunday, October 11, for the price of $150 with a two-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate.
